“There is no point in being inspired if you don’t take action! It’s a wasted opportunity.” Maria Bourke

For many years, until I became brave enough to show up in the world as myself, my business was InspirAction, with the tag line ‘inspiration to change’. I believe that inspiration without action is a terrible waste. I also believe that taking action without inspiration feels a bit like cardboard.

I love to speak about topics I am passionate about including the following:

Being brave enough to be yourself.

I think the time to be REAL has arrived. For years I’ve been saying ‘Real is the next big trend and you just can’t fake it!’

The importance of Personal Development work for every area of your life.

You are the number 1 ingredient in your life. YOU are at the centre of all you do. It therefore follows quite logically that the quickest way to be more successful as well as happier, is to work on being the very best version of YOU! (This is the focus of much of my client work.)

The power of our hearts and minds and how to use it.

Over the years I have come across compelling research on the power of meditation, the power of groups and the power of our minds. Woven together, with conscious awareness we can harness this power both individually and collectively, with little interference from the ‘what is’ and create amazing outcomes.

I promise i will leave your audience inspired and ready to take action!

As I am committed to outcomes, we will take action on what I am sharing during my talk, if appropriate. All the theory in the world does not yield change, action does. Likewise, your audience will leave with actions and dates in their diaries.

TESTIMONIAL - DOWN MEMORY LANE BOOK LAUNCH.

Vibrant, engaging, insightful, fun, creative genius & an absolute lady, that’s how I would describe Maria Bourke. We had the pleasure of inviting Maria to launch our publication Down Memory Lane on 26th August, 2016 at our Community Centre in Ballinacree. Her bubbly nature and caring heart came through in her address to the congregation, the book proceeds were in aid of Oldcastle Alzheimer’s Group who care for people of all ages suffering with dementia. Maria really captured our concept of memoir storytelling, looking back into our lives but ever so aware of the present moment which is a gift for so many of us, she really related to the close relationship between memory and memory loss. People noted how connected Maria was to our cause and to our passion for expressing ourselves through the written word.

She enhanced our event and left such a positive lasting impression.

We look forward to welcoming Maria back again in the future.

I am almost finished reading from cover to cover. I have laughed and I have cried. I am looking forward to rereading again for my own enjoyment at a slower pace to let everything sink in....over the coming weeks.
